Charleston County Consolidated 9-1-1 Center to Host Open Interviews
Charleston County’s Consolidated 9-1-1 Dispatch Center will host open interviews in August. Perspective candidates will be able to interview and apply for jobs on site.
Here are the details:
- Computers will be provided.
- Open Position: 9-1-1 Public Safety Telecommunicator I (8.25-hour shifts)
- Starting pay: $19.18/hour
- Charleston County Government says they offer “competitive pay, medical and dental benefits, retirement options, and paid leave.”
- A High School diploma or GED is required, but no prior experience is needed
- New hires will participate in an accredited training program
Interviews will be held at the Charleston County Public Services building located at 4045 Bridge View Drive in North Charleston from 8 am to 4 pm on the following dates:
- Wednesday, August 3rd
- Wednesday, August 10th
- Friday, August 19th
- Wednesday, August 24th
- Wednesday, August 31st

- Driver’s License
- Social Security Card
