Tanger Outlets Celebrates New School Year with Back-To-School Bash and Tax-Free Weekend

Tanger Outlets Charleston invites shoppers to kick-off the start of the school season with its Back-to-School Bash on Friday, August 5th from 5 pm to 8 pm, which also coincides with South Carolina’s Tax-Free Weekend. For one weekend only (from August 5th to 7th), Tanger shoppers will receive tax savings on all clothing and footwear purchases individually priced at $100 or less.

During the Back-to-School Bash, located in the courtyard in front of Tommy Hilfiger, families can also enjoy food trucks, music, and new stores including Puma, Zumiez, Ann Taylor, and Banter by Piercing Pagoda.

In addition to sales tax savings, Tanger Outlets will offer shoppers savings through the Tanger Insider program, which is available to all shoppers at no cost. The program provides 15% off a single item or an entire purchase at participating brands. Premium membership in TangerClub provides access to more savings – 25% off a single item or 20% off an entire purchase at participating stores, including Old Navy, Columbia and Under Armour, through August 28th. TangerClub also includes perks like immediate discounts, rewards for every dollar spent, priority parking, birthday gifts, and access to special events. Membership is available for $10 at TangerOutlets.com/TangerClub. Adding to the savings, TangerClub members have the opportunity to earn double points on all purchases through the end of August.
