Charleston Friends of the Library Hosting Back-to-School Book Sale
What better way to celebrate the upcoming school year than at the Charleston Friends of the Library’s (CFOL) John’s Island Book Sale where you can shop for great books at bargain prices while also supporting your library?
Attendees can browse through hundreds of gently used Children’s, YA, Non-Fiction, Fiction, Cookbooks, and more in the community meeting room. The sale will include books with prices starting at $1 for paperbacks and $4 for hardback books. This is also a great chance to see the newly-remodeled John’s Island branch.
“With the kids starting back at school, we know teachers have students read independently, and reading a book that you choose always makes reading that much more enjoyable,” said Nulani Bennett, Operations Manager for Charleston Friends of the Library. “Bring the kids out to choose their favorite book(s), but don’t forget about yourself! We are so excited to host our book sale back at the renovated John’s Island branch. Being on the Island provides access to affordable books within our community.”
