South Carolina Ranks Among the 15 States with the Most Underprivileged Children: WalletHub Study
WalletHub recently released its study on 2022’s States with the Most Underprivileged Children, and South Carolina ranked as having the 15th most underprivileged children in the country. This news comes two days after South Carolina was listed as being 2022’s Worst State to Have a Baby and a month after being ranked as the state with the 7th Most At-Risk Youth.

The data set ranges from share of children in households with below-poverty income to child food-insecurity rate to share of maltreated children.
