The Gin Joint to Host “Whistlepig Dinner” on August 30th
The Gin Joint will host its “Whistlepig Dinner” on Tuesday, August 30th from 6:30 pm to 9 pm. This limited, reservation-only dinner will include cocktails featuring one of the world’s finest whiskeys, in addition to a four-course meal. “We have very quickly fallen in love with hosting special events to showcase some culinary delights and delicious drinks,” said Wells Bolt, owner of The Gin Joint. “With such limited space, we expect this event to be an intimate and fantastic celebration of food, elegance, and fun.”
The Whistlepig Dinner will feature a menu consisting of:
- A Welcome Cocktail
- “The Piggyback”
- Course 1
- Whistlepig 10
- Summer Vegetable Tart, Whipped Goat Cheese, Tomato Jam, Fines Herbs
Course 2- Whistlepig 12
- Foie Gras Torchon, Compressed Fennel, Brioche, Peach
- Course 3
- Whistlepig 15
- Confit Duck Ragu, Housemade Pasta, Breadcrumb
- Course 4
- Limavady Irish Whiskey
- Toasted Barley Pudding, Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Almond Tuile
The Whistlepig Dinner will take place at The Gin Joint at 182 East Bay Street and will cost $75 per person plus tax and gratuity. You can reserve a spot by emailing drinkproper@theginjoint.com.
