Mellow Mushroom in West Ashley Closes for Remodel

As of Monday, August 22nd, Mellow Mushroom in West Ashley is temporarily closed for a remodel. The restaurant first opened in March of 2011 and after 11 years of serving the community, the team decided it was time for a refresh.

According to a Facebook post from the location, guests can expect all-new tile, art, and furniture. Plus, there will be a new seating layout. The new design will also take inspiration from the building’s original use as a movie theater.
Mellow Mushroom says they hope to limit the closure to no more than 10 days. The restaurant says customers can stay up-to-date on the remodel on social media.

The restaurant is located at 19 Magnolia Rd. in the Avondale neighborhood.
