BCLS Offering New Programs for Children, Teens, and Adults in September
Berkeley County Library System (BCLS) is offering new, fun activities for children (ages 10+), teens, and adults beginning September 8th, 2022 with the following schedule:
“At Berkeley County Library System we believe in presenting our community engaging programming for all ages,” said Jessica Nuckolls, Young Adult Librarian.
We Read YA Book Club is a monthly program for all ages. Customers are encouraged to meet and discuss any book they are reading with no requirement to read a specific book. Refreshments are provided by Friends of the Berkeley County Library.
Clay Animals is a program for ages 10+ and is occurring at three libraries on the same day. Children will sculpt air dry clay into animals. No sharp tools will be used.
Table Top Gaming is a program for 6th – 12th grade students at Sangaree Library. Teens will have access to our easy-to-learn tabletop collection featuring Codenames, Dungeon Mayhem, Clash of the Cards and more.
Video Games Tournament is a tournament for all ages and skill levels on September 24th at Hanahan and Cane Bay Libraries. The featured video game is Super Smash Bros. Ultimate played on the Nintendo Switch. The Super Smash Bros. Tournament Style is 1 vs. 1 elimination rounds. See below links to register.
