YesAndventures Earns Residency at South of Broadway Theatre

YesAndventures, Charleston’s favorite (and only) Dungeons and Dragons improv comedy show recently won a residency at South of Broadway Theatre. The group’s performances feature improv comedy inspired by Dungeons and Dragons, the famous role playing fantasy game that relies on a dungeon master and a 20-sided die to determine what happens in a scene. 

The Dungeon Master takes audience suggestions to create a world that the improvisers play in and furthers the story along when a character makes a bold, definitive choice in the scene. The die, rolled by an audience volunteer, determines how the scene goes: 10 or higher, it is a success, but if it is 10 or lower, that’s not good news for the adventurers.
