The Pineapple Hut Adds Market Street Location

The Pineapple Hut, the Folly Beach business that specializes in pineapple whips and floats, recently opened a new location on the peninsula. The new spot, which officially opened on September 3rd, can be found on the patio of the Port of Call Food + Brew Hall (99 S Market St., Ste 5).

According to the Pineapple Hut’s website, the new location will be open daily from 11 am to 10 pm. However, the business will take some of the colder months off as it will be open from March to December.

The Pineapple Hut specialize in Pineapple Dole Whip, a popular treat famously found at Disney amusement parks or the Dole Plantation in Hawaii. The business says pineapple whip is “a healthier alternative compared to other desserts” and is 100% vegan, fat free, low calorie, gluten free, and cholesterol free.
