Wild Dunes Resort Launches Specialty Beer in Partnership with Holy City Brewing
Wild Dunes Resort today announced the first collaboration with Holy City Brewing. The local entities partnered to create the Seven Mile Pilsner specialty beer with a custom Wild Dunes Resort design. The beer is now available at the resort and will soon be available for purchase at Holy City Brewing, Harris Teeter, Publix, and Total Wine & More.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with our friends at Holy City Brewing to serve a clean, balanced and locally made beer at Wild Dunes Resort,” said Nico Scherman, general manager, Wild Dunes Resort. “Charleston’s craft beer scene is thriving and we are proud to offer the Seven Mile Pilsner for our guests to enjoy throughout the resort.”
The new brew is named for Isle of Palms’ seven mile stretch of beachfront. Here’s how the businesses describe the beer:
Occurring over several weeks, the careful temperature-controlled fermentation process allows the brew to develop a mellow taste over time, allowing the malts, hops and unique characteristics to showcase their true flavors. The Seven Mile Pilsner ferments and lagers for a minimum of eight weeks in Holy City’s stainless-steel tanks. After undergoing a quality control process the beer is ready for packaging and distribution.
“Our goal was to brew a crisp and clean lager that pairs well with the menus at each of the resort’s restaurants and bars, as well as for the days guests want to enjoy all the resort has to offer, including lounging poolside or on the golf course,” said JT Stellmach, sales director, Holy City Brewing.
