Website: South Carolina is the 8th “Most Vape-Obsessed State in America”
ProVape, who are self-described vaping experts, recently released their study on America’s most “vape-obsessed” states, and South Carolina ranked as being the 8th most obsessed.
The website says their research examined Google Trends data of search terms frequently used by people interested in vapes. These terms were then combined to give each American state a ‘total search score’ to discover which states are the most obsessed with vaping.
The study revealed that West Virginia ranks highest as the state most obsessed with vaping. With a total search score of 6, West Virginia topped the list for its population, having the highest search levels for the phrases’ Vape shop,’ ‘Vape,’ ‘Vaping,’ and ‘Vapes.’ Additionally, the population of West Virginia search for ‘Vape’ and ‘Vaping’ more than any other state in America.
South Carolina had a score of 34 (tired with Montana). Despite not being the top state for any search terms, the population has the third highest number of searches for ‘Vape’ in America. Its population has the fifth highest number of searches for ‘Vape shop,’ and it has the 13th highest number of searches for ‘Vaping’ and ‘Vapes’ in America.
