Charleston Beer Week Returns in October for its 9th Year
Charleston Beer Week (CBW), now in its 9th year, will be held from Friday, October 28th through Monday, November 7th at multiple venues throughout the greater Charleston area.
This year’s event includes over 50 craft beer-focused events taking place each day across the tri-county area. While some events offer advanced ticket sales, most events are free to attend and “pay-as-you-go.”
“Our local beer scene continues to craft interesting flavors and experiences for beer lovers,” said Chris Winn, lead coordinator for Charleston Beer Week. “Beer Week is an opportunity to really showcase the talent and passion of our breweries, and provides a chance for beer fans both new and old to get immersed.”
CBW will feature numerous outdoor, sporting, and culinary-related events, such as the Hop Chef Competition, Beer Olympics, Round of Beers Golf Tournament, Beer Week Block Party, Bocce Tournament, Pint Pedal, and the Yard Pong Tournament. This year will also set a record for charitable events with fundraising throughout the week supporting ten local charities.
All events will be listed on the official CBW website over the next few weeks and you’ll be able to filter the listings by date, location, and event type.
