Incluza-Palooza Presents “You’re the Only One I’ve Told: The Voices of Abortion”
On Saturday, September 24th, 2022, the College of Charleston’s Incluza-Palooza event will present You’re the Only One I’ve Told: The Voices of Abortion, a unique theatrical performance and community call to action using the true stories of women’s experiences with abortion from Dr. Meera Shah’s Book “You’re the Only One I’ve Told: The Stories Behind Abortions.” Dr. Shah has, for the first time, granted permission to adapt these stories for theatrical purposes.
This is a campus-community collaboration, co-sponsored by the College of Charleston’s Women’s and Gender Studies Program and Department of Theatre and Dance.
The performances will be held at the College of Charleston’s Education Center (25 St. Phillips Street, Auditorium Room #118) starting at 7 pm and 8:30 pm.
Tickets are free, but attendees are encouraged to make a donation at the door if they are able to. All proceeds will benefit local reproductive health access organizations, including Planned Parenthood. Plus, The League of Women Voters will be on site for Voter Registration.
