Berkeley County Library System (BCLS), in collaboration with the South Carolina Bar, invites customers to participate in Law Talk Series, Monday, September 26th, 2022, from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at Goose Creek Library. The discussion topic is Estate Planning by Campbell Coxe, Esq., Rutledge Law Firm.
Law Talk Series is an attorney-led discussion providing free legal education by a volunteer attorney with Q&A following the talk. Customers may visit https://berkeleylibrarysc.libcal.com/event/9016962 to register for this session.
“I can’t think of any area of the law where three simple documents can help you and your family avoid 90% of the most common issues people run into when someone is incapacitated or dies,” said Campbell Coxe, Esq., Rutledge Law Firm, LLC. “A properly drafted Will, Durable Power of Attorney and Health Care Power of Attorney can save your family more money, time, and stress than you can imagine. Everyone should make these important decisions now, while they still can.”
Cindy Coker, Director of Public Services, South Carolina Bar, added, “We are excited to partner with the Berkeley County Library System to host these educational Law Talks. It is important for everyone to develop an understanding of the law and the legal system. We appreciate the willingness of our Bar members to give of their time and share their knowledge to make these events successful.”
