Herd Provisions to Wine Dinner with Robert Sinskey
Herd Provisions today announced they will be hosting Robert Sinskey of Robert Sinskey Vineyards for an exclusive tasting on September 20th, 2022. This is an opportunity for Charleston locals to learn more about Sinskey’s wines and expertise in the industry. Sinskey will be pouring his wines tableside during the event to be paired with a 4-course menu prepared by Herd’s Executive Chef, Jeanne Oleksiak.
Robert Sinskey, Jr., the man behind some of the most prized Pinot Noirs in California wine country, owns and operates his namesake organic, biodynamic winery Robert Sinskey Vineyards (RSV), against the hills on the eastern side of Silverado Trail in the Stags Leap District. Their motto is “fine wines from organic vines” as Sinskey believes that the goals of making elegant wines and farming with earth-friendly methods are not mutually exclusive. Rather, he has found that caring for the land and conscientious business practices have helped define the well-crafted wines of RSV. Sinskey and his team have adopted methods that not only produce wines of individuality but leave a minimal footprint on the land.
Reservations for the tasting via Resy are encouraged, but walk-ins are available. The pricing for the tasting is $110 per person (not including tax or gratuity).
Herd Provisions is located at 106 Grove Street. For more information, follow the restaurant on social media @herdprovisionschs.
