Charleston Beer Fest Announces Over 50 Breweries and Surprise Artist Addition

Charleston Beer Fest today announced that it will host over 50 breweries during this year’s event. In addition, the festival announced a new addition to their music artist lineup – The High Divers.  Young Mister will open the festival before turning over the stage to She Returns from War.  Then The High Divers will take the stage before the festival is closed out by the North Mississippi Allstars.  

Lowcountry beer and music lovers have even more to celebrate as more than 50 breweries sign up for the Charleston Beer Fest on October 22, making this the largest event yet. The festival gives beer lovers the chance to sample plenty of local favorites plus new IPAs, reds, ales, stouts, sours, ciders and many more styles from all around North and South Carolina, Georgia, and beyond. Charleston Beer Fest is from noon to 7pm on Saturday, October 22 at Riverfront Park in North Charleston. Pouring more than 70 different beers are:

We worked our butts off to partner with more breweries than ever before, and I truly think it has paid off — we are so pleased to showcase the regional craft beer community at Charleston Beer Fest.”

VIP attendees also will have access to exclusive beer samples in the VIP Retreat on the River. A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $80 each and include a commemorative festival mug, 20 beer tickets, early festival access at 12 pm, VIP swag bar, and access to the VIP Oasis with shaded seating, misting fans, exclusive activities, free VIP-only beer tastings, light snacks, and private restroom trailers.

General admission tickets include a commemorative festival mug and 10 beer tickets. Tickets are currently $35 or $40 the day of the festival.

A Designated Driver ticket is available for $20. Purchase tickets and learn more at www.chsbeerfest.org. Proceeds from Charleston Beer Fest benefit Palmetto Community Care in its work providing complete compassionate HIV care and prevention education awareness across the tri-county area.

Parking for the event will be free. The event is strictly for ages 21 and over only.

In addition to all the Carolina craft brews, festival attendees will be treated to a wide range of food trucks, a Vendor Village featuring local artisan and craft vendors. The popular Beer Games along with one music stage featuring musical acts headlined by North Mississippi Allstars and entertainment throughout the day.
