South Carolina Democratic Party Releases TV Ad Focused on Abortion Ban Vote
The South Carolina Democratic Party today released a TV ad focused on Governor Henry McMaster and some Republican legislators who voted for an abortion ban in South Carolina. The ad, titled “Faces,” is part of a six-figure buy and will begin running immediately in South Carolina.
“I’ve been in politics a long time – so I’ve had a front-fow seat as the GOP chips away at the rights and freedom of women,” said SCDP Chair Trav Robertson, Jr. “It’s time to call them and their anti-freedom agenda out, which is exactly what this ad does.”

“Remember these faces. Because these South Carolina legislators just voted for one of the cruelest abortion bans in America. A ban with no exceptions if a woman has been raped. Or is a victim of incest. They put the rights of rapists and child molesters ahead of South Carolina women. And this man cheered them on. Governor Henry McMaster. So this November make your voice heard. Vote them out.”
