Pink Cactus Launches Saturday Brunch & Mexican Pizza Night
Spring Street Mexican restaurant Pink Cactus announced the return of their Saturday Brunch, starting back up on October 8th. In addition, they will launch Mexican Pizza Night Mondays beginning on October 10th.
Owner/Chef Brooke Warden’s brunch menu, available Saturdays from 11 am to 3 pm, includes colorful specialties like Huevos Divorciados (right) complete with beans, rice, tortillas, arbol rojo, and salsa verde; Torta con Huevos made for all the breakfast sandwich lovers out there; and the Pancakes with Flor de Jamaica compote. Pink Cactus will also be serving hot and iced Springbok coffee during brunch.
On Mondays, guests can enjoy Chef Warden’s twist on the traditional Oaxacan Clayuda (pictured below). Her large, 12-inch baked tortilla is topped with arbol rojo, Chihuahua and cotija cheeses, rice and beans, avocado, serrano, cilantro, radish, and crema. Starting at $10 and available every Monday from 3 pm to 9:30 pm, guests can add tinga pollo, chorizo or poblano rajas for $5 more.
