A Night with EDWINS Chef Brandon Chrostowski benefits South Carolina’s Jasmine Road
Chef Brandon Edwin Chrostowski, CEO and founder of EDWINS Leadership & Restaurant Institute, is joining forces with South Carolina’s Jasmine Road to host a special five-course dinner and give a keynote address focused on providing the opportunity to flourish through social enterprise.
The five-course dinner developed by Chef Chrostowski, a delicious tour of French cuisine and thoughtful wine pairings, will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25th at the Poinsett Club in Greenville, South Carolina. Proceeds will benefit Jasmine Road, the state’s first two-year residential program that offers women who are trapped in a cycle of sexual exploitation and addiction a path to freedom, a haven for healing and the opportunity to flourish, leading to generational change and the betterment of the community.
In 2007, Chef Chrostowski founded EDWINS, a flagship French eatery based in Cleveland, Ohio, that also operates as a culinary arts training ground for formerly incarcerated, with the belief that “every human being, regardless of their past, has the right to a fair and equal future.” The establishment is a proven successful mix of award-winning French cuisine, and top-tier table service combined with a unique and revolutionary social cause. EDWINS is the only white tablecloth restaurant in the country whose staff consists entirely of formerly incarcerated men and women in both the kitchen and the front of house, and the program has since expanded its reach across the country.
Chef Chrostowski is making a trip to South Carolina for this special dinner and to join Jasmine Road the following day, on Wednesday, October 26th, to give a keynote address during Jasmine Road’s 6th Annual Rooted in Love Luncheon.
