Charleston Animal Society to Host Applause for Paws Havana Nights Gala on October 15th at the Gaillard Center
The Applause for Paws Havana Nights Gala benefiting Charleston Animal Society will take place at the Gaillard Center on Saturday, October 15th. Tickets are available online and the online silent auction is now open at CharlestonAnimalSociety.org/
“This is the Animal Society’s most prestigious black-tie event of the year,” said gala chairperson Gerri Greenwood. “Our fundraising goal to support our lifesaving mission is $550,000. Still in the throes of a global pandemic, a war raging in Europe, and now recovering from Hurricane Ian, raising funds for local non-profit organizations is more challenging than it ever has been.”
The Havana Nights online silent auction includes fashion packages, exclusive trips, dining experiences, and even the chance to enter a raffle for a brand-new, fully optimized 2022 Club Car Onward L4.
Carolyn Murray, News 2 Co-Anchor and Charleston Animal Society Board Member, will emcee the gala along with the Doug Warner at the helm of the live auction. The live auction in the gala ballroom includes once-in-a-lifetime experiences at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah and spending a day with “Project Street Vet” celebrity veterinarian, Dr. Kwane Stewart, on the streets of Los Angeles.
