U.S. Transportation Secretary Buttigieg to Travel to Charleston, Highlight Transit Investments
On Wednesday, October 12th, U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg will visit Charleston to tour local infrastructure and highlight Bipartisan Infrastructure Law investments with Majority Whip James E. Clyburn.
At 3 pm, Secretary Buttigieg will join Majority Whip Clyburn, and other local leaders for a news conference at the BCD Council of Governments office to highlight critical investments in transit in the Charleston area that are helping to better connect communities through new infrastructure and cleaner and greener technology.
While in Charleston, Secretary Buttigieg and Majority Whip Clyburn will also visit Charleston International Airport and host meetings with local community members and leaders.
