SAVI Cucina Welcomes Fall with New Menu Options
Mount Pleasant’s SAVI Cucina + Wine Bar is now offering some new coastal Italian-inspired dishes and cocktails to welcome the fall season.
SAVI’s new cocktails include the Fall Cider Sangria made with vodka, apple cider, and prosecco; and the Cranberry Fizz (above right), a bubbly mix of gin, citrus, and cranberry compote. There are also spiced selections like the creamy Chai Martini and the SAVI Hot Toddy made with the guest’s choice of Bulleit Bourbon or Plantation Rum plus lemon, honey, and baking spice. You can see the full cocktail menu here.
New on the dinner menu is the Lamb Pappardelle (right) featuring handmade pasta with a red wine sauce and lemon ricotta, topped with 12-hour braised lamb. The Mushroom Risotto, featuring porcini, cremini, and oyster mushrooms with Taleggio and St. Andre cheese, can be enjoyed on its own or upgraded with chicken, shrimp, scallops, fish, or steak. Plus, there’s no need to choose between pizza and salad with the Kale Caesar, a quattro formaggi pizza base piled high with kale caesar salad and hand-torn focaccia croutons. Other new dishes include Grilled Octopus, SAVI Mussels, a 9 oz. Herb Marinated Hanger Steak, and a 14 oz. Tomahawk Pork Chop. You can see the full menu here.
