Charleston Is 2022’s 5th Best Midsize City for Soccer Fans – WalletHub Study

Personal finance website WalletHub today released a report on 2022’s Best Cities for Soccer Fans and Charleston was named the 5th best midsize city in the country (it ranked 26th overall).

To find the best places for loving on the world’s favorite sport, WalletHub compared nearly 300 U.S. cities with at least one college or professional soccer team across five divisions comprising 52 key metrics. The data set ranges from minimum season-ticket price for a game to stadium accessibility to number of championship wins.

Soccer Fandom in Charleston (1=Best; 147=Avg.):

• 11^th – Performance Level of USL Team
• 7^th – Min. Season-Ticket Price for USL Game
• 7^th – USL Stadium Capacity
• 1^st – USL Fan Engagement
