Next Edition of Meyer Vogl Gallery’s “Culture Cake” Series Scheduled for November 17th
Meyer Vogl Gallery announced the next “Culture Cake,” a series of arts and cultural programming at their Daniel Island location. The event will take place on Thursday, November 17th, from 6 pm to 8 pm at 250 River Landing Drive. The event is free, but you are asked to RSVP by e-mailing info@meyervogl.com.
This edition of “Culture Cake” celebrates the local artists that anchor the Meyer Vogl roster. All hailing from the Charleston area, the featured artists will participate in a live “paint-off,” demonstrating each of their unique styles and mediums. Joining them will be live model Shaniequa Washington, owner of Zuriel Kingdom Collections and star of the most recent “Culture Cake.”
At the event, paintings from the live demonstration will be auctioned off benefit the Lowcountry Unity Fund. Local Meyer Vogl artists represented in the exhibition include:
Laurie Meyer
Marissa Vogl
Susan Colwell
Paul Ferrari
Anne Darby Parker
Nancy Hoerter
Susan Altman
Carrie Beth Waghorn
The “Culture Cake” series is aimed at connecting the gallery’s audience with local culture and inspiring discussions on a variety of topics, including art, music, history, fashion, food, and wine.
