Redux Hosts its 20th Annual Art Auction & Gala on November 19th

Redux Contemporary Art Center invites the community to join them at the 20th Annual Redux Annual Auction & Gala. The event raises funds to help the studio meet its goals of “advancing contemporary art and culture in Charleston and to continue to provide opportunities for visual artists.”

Taking place on November 19th, 2022 at Redux’s home (1056 King Street), the annual Annual Auction is the organization’s primary, annual fundraising event. Funds raised at the auction provide essential support for their comprehensive exhibitions, education and outreach programs, robust studio program, and it allows them to directly support emerging visual artists’ ideas and work in the year to come.

Auction guests will have the chance to bid on a curated selection of affordable contemporary artworks by 150+ emerging and established artists in both a silent and live auction. They can also enjoy paella from Dashi, snacks from Martin’s BBQ, and an open bar with beverages courtesy of the Cocktail Bandits, Cathead Distillery, Folio Wine Partners, and LoFi Brewing. In addition, attendees with see kaleidoscopic lights from Lazer Catcher and hear tunes from DJ Moldybrain, with dance installations by the Unbound Ballet Project.
