Charleston Museum to Host “Nighttime at the Museum” in January

Published

on

The Charleston Museum will host “Nighttime at the Museum” on Friday, January 13th from 7 pm to 10 pm. The event, which is for guests aged 21 and older, is part of the venue’s 250th Birthday Celebration.

Attendees can explore the galleries after hours and discover the “spicier side” of the Museum’s collections. Curators and special guests will be stationed throughout the galleries showcasing some of the less delicate, but highly entertaining themes not ordinarily experienced on a typical visit to the Museum.

Guests are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite character from history or animal creature from the Lowcountry’s natural environment and beyond.

The celebration’s ticket price will include music provided by Professor Ping, a reception, and an open bar featuring a special anniversary craft beer, 1773 Anniversary Ale, which was brewed by Holy City Brewery.

Interested parties can register here or call 843.722.2996 ext. 235 before tickets sell out.  Guests must be 21 or older.

The Charleston Museum can be found at 360 Meeting Street.
