Emeline Announces Tree Lighting and Holiday Programming
Emeline, a boutique hotel located in downtown Charleston, is kicking off the holiday season on Thursday, December 1st, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, with its annual tree lighting ceremony. The evening will debut the custom holiday decorations by local event designer Tara Guérard, holiday treats, shopping, live performers, photo opportunities in front of the tree, and opportunities to give back to the community.
Guests are invited to join for an evening featuring appearances from Santa and Mrs. Claus; live music and carolers; complimentary hot cider, cocoa, and festive cookies; celebratory cocktails; and much more. This holiday event is complimentary and open to the public. Local florist Roadside Blooms will also be onsite offering a mini wreath making workshop for $25 per wreath.
Keep Shop will debut their custom scented holiday candles, flasks, Emeline-styled ornaments, Susan Gregory watercolor holiday post cards, and more – perfect for holiday gifts this season.
“This annual tree lighting ceremony gives us the opportunity to offer our community a place to gather, celebrate, and toast the season as they make memories set against our new holiday décor backdrop,” said Shannon Hartman, director of sales and marketing at Emeline. “We are excited to give visitors and locals a special experience at Emeline this holiday season and cannot wait to see the space transformed by Tara Guerard’s team.”
Emeline’s holiday décor features designs by Tara Guérard of Soireé The concept will include palm leaves local to Charleston, green and white ribbonry, traditional twinkling lights, and much more. The decorations can be found throughout the hotel and in both Frannie & The Fox and Clerks Coffee Co.
“Emeline is very much a home away from home for our guests, and we thought what could be more special than to create a holiday scape that speaks to Emeline’s roots right here in Charleston,” said Carly Skinner, general manager at Emeline. “From custom made wreaths, garland adorning our bannisters and mantles and of course, our exquisite tree, we believe this will be a very wonderful touch for our visitors this season.”
Additional holiday programming at Emeline will include the Feast of the 7 Fishes dinner at Frannie & The Fox on Saturday, December 24th. More details will be announced soon, and reservations can be made at www.hotelemeline.com/event/ feast-of-the-seven-fishes.
