Redux to Present “Latent Cuts” by J. Kevin Foltz
Redux Art Center will next month present “Latent Cuts” by J. Kevin Foltz. Viewing the exhibit is free and open to the public during gallery hours (Tuesday-Friday, 11 am – 5pm and Saturday, 12 pm – 3 pm; with the exception of holiday break from December 22nd to January 3rd).
“Chaos breeds creativity,” Foltz said. “After a whitewater accident on the Cangrejal River in Honduras, I began cutting linoleum blocks as a form of therapy during recovery. After many years of laying dormant, I have made the first prints from these stashed away blocks with the guidance of Taylor Faulkner here in the Redux print studio. The Redux Contemporary Art Center incubates creativity.”
Redux Contemporary Art Center is located at 1056 King Street. You can learn more at reduxstudios.org/learn.
