Mills House Announces Holiday Programming

The Mills House in Charleston’s historic French Quarter today announced a slate of holiday programming to celebrate the winter season.

Here’s what’s on tap:

Whiskey Wednesdays at Iron Rose

  • Every Wednesday for five weeks starting on December 7th, Iron Rose’s Executive Whiskey Steward will be onsite debuting a rare whiskey bottle, with limited supply available. Pours will be offered by the ounce starting at 5 pm and guests can expect unique bottles such as Whistle Pig Boss Hog 9th Edition “Siren’s Song,” Willett Purple Bourbon, and more.

Winter Seasonal Offerings at Black Door Café

  • All Winter – Black Door Café will be serving up seasonally inspired treats, including:
    • Authentic Irish Coffees all day Saturdays and Sundays for $9.
    • Festive beverages including a Cinnamon Roll Latte, Irish Cold Brew, and a Candy Cane Milkshake are available on the menu daily.
  • Saturday, December 17th – Free Photobooth with Santa & His Elves from 3 pm to 6 pm
    • Photo opportunities available for families
    • Wine and Irish Coffees served for parents
    • No RSVP Required

Holiday Dining at Iron Rose

  • Christmas Eve
    • Holiday brunch service will be offered from 8 am to 2 pm
    • Holiday dinner service will be offered from 4 pm to 8 pm, with the bar open until 10 pm
      • Holiday dinner menu available here, including specials such as roasted whole lobster with leek fondue and black truffles; and rack of lamb with white beans, brown butter, rapini, and gremolata.
    • Live music from 7 pm to 10 pm
    • Reservations are available via RESY.
  • Christmas Day
    • Holiday brunch service will be offered from 8 am to 2 pm,  with live music from 10 am to 2 pm
    • Holiday dinner service will be offered from 4 pm to 8 pm
    • Reservations are available via RESY.
