QuoteWizard, an insurance comparison platform, released a report on the Best and Worst Drivers by State and they ranked South Carolina drivers as being the 20th worst in the country.
To come up with the ranking, the website says they analyzed over 10 million car insurance quotes to find the number of accidents, DUIs, speeding tickets, and citations in each state. You can find the full report along with detailed rankings for each state at the link below.

- 4th worst in accidents (worst meaning more accidents)
- 22nd best in speeding
- 15th best in DUIs
