The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill Opens in Mt. Pleasant
The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, a Mediterranean fast-casual concept, recently opened its second South Carolina restaurant at 3500 Park Avenue Blvd., Suite #100, in Mount Pleasant. The restaurant also has a location on James Island.
To commemorate the opening, the Mt. Pleasant restaurant will host an Opa-Palooza Grand Opening Celebration on Wednesday, December 14th, from 4 pm to 7 pm, featuring:
- Chances to win free food and prizes, including free Gyros for a year
- Exclusive giveaways: first 50 customers to dine after 4 p.m. will receive $25 gift cards to The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill
- Live music on the patio from Dave Landeo Band
To give back to the local community, The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill’s new restaurant also hosted a fundraiser benefiting MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital, in which 50 percent of net sales on the day of the fundraiser were donated to support the hospital’s mission of providing comprehensive and compassionate care to children throughout South Carolina and beyond. The Mt. Pleasant restaurant will donate an additional $1,000 to the organization on December 14th as part of the grand opening event, for a total of $2,654.35 raised.
The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill’s Mt. Pleasant restaurant is the second of eight planned locations in the Charleston-area that will be opened by father-daughter team, Scott Willis and Chandler Helms.
“We’re thrilled to expand our restaurant portfolio in the Charleston-area,” said Willis. “We have the opportunity to enrich our local community, and we’re proud to bring friends and families together to enjoy fresh, flavorful food that they can feel good about.”
The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill’s menu features items like the Great Greek Gyro, Feta Fries, as well as Lamb, Steak, and Chicken Souvlaki Plates. In addition, guests can enjoy four house-made dips including Hummus, Tzatziki, Melitzanosalata (eggplant dip), and Tirokafteri (spicy roasted red pepper).
The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill serves lunch and dinner from 11 am to 8 pm daily with dine-in, pick-up and delivery options.
