Pet Helpers Receives Generous Donation Offer

Pet Helpers on Monday announced that an anonymous donor has provided “a generous matching donation” through the end of the year. All monetary donations received to Pet Helpers between December 12th, 2022 and December 31st, 2022 will be matched dollar for dollar up to $50,000. 

“We are so grateful to be a part of a community that lends their support for animals in need,” said Melissa Susko, Executive Director. “This year has been extremely difficult, with the number of animals in our care and the expenditures to care for them continually rising. We know that times are tough for so many in our community, which is why we appreciate any financial support they are able to provide. Knowing that we have a donor willing to match these donations ensures that we can make these dollars go twice as far and help twice as many animals. ”

Monetary donations can be made online by visiting the Pet Helpers website at www.pethelpers.org, in person by visiting the shelter during operating hours (12 pm to 5 pm daily), or by mailing payment to the shelter at 1447 Folly Road Charleston.
