Charleston County 9-1-1 will Host Open Interviews in 2023
Charleston County’s Consolidated 9-1-1 Dispatch Center will host open interviews beginning in January. Perspective candidates will be able to interview and apply for jobs on site.
Open Position: 9-1-1 Public Safety Telecommunicator I (8.25-hour shifts)
Starting pay: $19.18/hour
Interviews will be held at the Charleston County Public Services building located at 4045 Bridge View Drive, North Charleston 29405, on the following dates.
- Wednesday, January 4 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Wednesday, January 18 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Wednesday, February 1 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Wednesday, February 15 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.

- High School Diploma/GED
- Birth Certificate
- Driver’s License
- Social Security Card
