Kwei Fei Going Vegan in January
Popular James Island restaurant Kwei Fei is switching up their menu in January 2023. Co-owners Tina Heath-Schuttenberg and David Schuttenberg say about 70% of their menu is or can be made vegan year-round, but next month they’re making it fully vegan. Instead of sticking to Sichuan, the kitchen will be including foods from Guangdong (formerly Canton) and American-style Chinese Takeout. Guests can expect things like Impossible Dumplings, Winter Squash Bao, the return of the Biang Biang Noodle, and more.
In addition to the menu switch up, Laura Forrest (formerly of Citrus Club) is working on a drink menu dedicated to low ABV cocktails and mocktails. Kwei Fei will also be featuring Charleston’s One Love Kombucha.
The menu will be available from January 3rd to 28th:
- Lunch
- Tuesday through Saturday 11 am to 3 pm
- Order online through KweiFei.com for takeout and delivery only (no dine-in)
- Dinner
- Tuesday through Thursday from 5 pm to 9 pm
- Friday and Saturday from 5 pm – 10 pm
