Lowcountry Graduate Center Aims High and Welcomes a New Director
The Lowcountry Graduate Center welcomes Jessica Carter, Ph.D. (right), an experienced professional with a broad skill set encompassing decades of work in a wide variety of fields. Carter joins the LGC with a record of success as a business owner, published author and seasoned educator and trainer. Her accomplishments include organizational development, relationship development, and communications planning and implementation. Graduating from Park University with a B.S. in Clinical Psychology, Carter subsequently earned her MBA from Angelo State University and her doctoral degree in organizational leadership from Trident University International. She assumes her new LGC responsibilities effective January 31, 2023, and can be reached at director@
The Lowcountry Graduate Center is a state-funded organization dedicated to promoting graduate-level education and professional development at the College of Charleston, The Citadel and the Medical University of South Carolina in order to augment the talent of the region’s workforce, contributing to the economic vitality and wellness of the community.
