15th Annual Captain’s Comic Expo Scheduled for February 25th & 26th

On both February 25th and 26th, the Captain’s Comic Expo returns to Charleston to celebrate comic book culture. The 15^th annual event features over 140 tables of comic book dealers from across the southeast, toys from the past 50 years, artists and crafters of many genres, and much more.

Here’s what else attendees can expect during the two-day festival:

• Fans and professionals can roam the hall in costumes (often called cosplay)
• Food truck rodeo
• Special guests from the world of art and pop culture
  • Femi Taylor, who played Oola the green dancer from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi
  • Christopher Kayhman Lee and Tracy Lynn Cruz, Red and Yellow Rangers from Power Rangers: In Space
  • Gallery artists Bianca Roman-Stumph and Kit Steele
  • Archie writer and artist Bill Golliher
• On Saturday, Captain’s will host the Star Wars 501st
  • A cast of camera-ready Star Wars characters on stage and roaming the Expo to interact and take photos with fans
• On Sunday, the Expo will host Cosplay LIVE!, an interactive cosplay experience

The event will be held at the Omar Shrine Temple at 176 Patriots Point Rd in Mount Pleasant.
