The Steve Madden store at 287 King St. has closed for good. Local journalist Quintin Washington shared the news on Twitter today (see below).

Washington also shared photos which showed empty shelves and moving boxes scattered throughout the store.

Fans of the brand can still visit the Steve Madden store in the Tanger Outlets in North Charleston (4840 Tanger Outlet Blvd).
