EO Charleston to Host Event Celebrating Black Entrepreneurs
EO Charleston, the Lowcountry’s local chapter of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), a global organization representing 18,000 entrepreneurs from more than 60 countries, announces it will host its Celebrating Charleston’s Black Entrepreneurs event on February 9, 2023, from 7 pm to 9 pm at The Wonderer.
Held in honor of Black History Month, the special event serves to empower and celebrate Black business leaders across the Charleston-metro area. Guests will be joined by special guest speaker Ethan King (pictured above right), renowned international speaker and former EO Atlanta chapter president. King will share his insights on living a life of wealth, health, freedom and happiness.
“Having Ethan join us in Charleston to celebrate and inspire our local Black business leaders is an honor,” shares EO Charleston president Jessica Munday. “Ethan’s success as a business owner, speaker and now global EO leader is an energizing example of the entrepreneurial spirit. We look forward to seeing how his message can inspire our members and business owners throughout the Charleston area at large.”
Beginning as a former starving artist, King has built several successful 7-figure brands, serving A-list celebrities and enterprises such as Tyler Perry, Akon, Rick Ross, Coca-Cola and Marvel Studios. King is best known as a top-rated international speaker and emcee who utilizes his S.I.M.P.L.E. Success System to help high performers optimize their lives for success.
“The EO community is very diverse globally, so I believe it is important for that same diversity to be reflected in our local U.S. chapters,” shares King. “As Black business owners reach a certain level in running their business, EO offers opportunities to scale to the $1 million annual revenue mark and beyond. To be able to support these entrepreneurs and show them a path that results in not only business success, but whole life success, is something I am very passionate about.”
King will visit Charleston to speak at The Wonderer on Thursday evening and then on Friday morning, Feb. 10, local entrepreneurs are invited to register for a special meet and greet breakfast at The Harbour Club. The first 50 entrepreneurs who sign up for the Thursday night event will receive a copy of King’s latest book, Wealth Beyond Money.
The event is made possible through support from the chapter’s strategic alliance partners, including Viking Mergers & Acquisitions, TRIO, Coastal Strategic Capital, The Wonderer, Angel Oak Accounting, Insurance Office of America, Brad Franko Consulting LLC and Own Your Category.
