I-HOPE Women’s Business Centers to Host Statewide Conference for Women, Minority, and Veteran-owned Businesses
I-HOPE Women’s Business Center of the Lowcountry, in collaboration with the Small Business Administration (SBA), announced its hosting of the Motivate Her SC conference, a women’s business and leadership conference to encourage, inspire, and motivate South Carolina women. The conference will take place on March 25th at the Lowcountry Conference Center in Summerville. All female entrepreneurs and community leaders are invited to attend.
“I-HOPE is excited to collaborate with our resource partners throughout the state,” said Dorothea Bernique, executive director of Increasing H.O.P.E. “We are grateful for the SBA’s support of this event, which will present South Carolina women business owners with opportunities for growth, connection and leadership development.”
The inaugural Motivate Her SC entrepreneurial empowerment conference will focus on women, minority, and veteran-owned businesses cultivating leaders, building relationships and gaining access to opportunities. Conference highlights include sessions on leadership, procurement, marketing and certifications; intentional networking opportunities; a curated collection of exhibitors designed to support and inspire attendees; and a keynote speaker address by Carolyn Hunter.
“This conference is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to connect and discover resources in one location,” said Whitney Brown, program director of the I-HOPE Women’s Business Center.
Local businesses and organizations are invited to support and participate in the conference as exhibitors and through sponsorship opportunities, which will actively benefit the livelihoods of those in the communities they serve.
