Local Law Firm Files First Camp Lejeune Lawsuit in the Nation
Poulin | Willey | Anastopoulo is the first law firm in the country to file a Camp Lejeune personal injury lawsuit in the Eastern District of North Carolina Federal Court as a result of injuries sustained from contaminated water at that base. The firm was the first in the nation to file an administrative claim on behalf of Camp Lejeune victims last year. The firm is prominent in the Carolinas and is starting what will be a wave of filings on behalf of plaintiffs injured by contaminated water while living at the United States Marine Corps base.
“We are proud of our Class and Mass Action Division for acting swiftly on this matter,” said partner Roy T. Willey IV. “It is imperative that we begin the legal process on behalf of our clients, who are this nation’s heroes, to avoid future harm and get them a means for recovery for the damage already done and long suffered.”
