31st Sea & Sand Festival on Folly Beach Set for February 25th & 26th
The annual Sea & Sand Festival, Folly’s longest-running event, returns to Folly Beach this month for its 31st year. The festival, which will be held on both Saturday, February 25th and Sunday, February 26th, will feature a weekend full of family-friendly events.Here’s a look at the weekend schedule:
- Saturday, February 25th – “Salty Saturday”
- Outdoor artisan street closure event from 10 am to 4 pm
- Features local bands, 60+ art, craft, and fashion vendors, a rodeo shark for attendees to ride, a Surfboard Painting Contest, and a kids’ area
- The streets will close to auto traffic at 7 am and reopen at 6 pm
- Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the gate
- Folly residents and kids 12 and under are free
- Outdoor artisan street closure event from 10 am to 4 pm
- Sunday, February 26th
- Sandcastle building contest on the beach
- Awards for Best Family, Best Adults, Best Architectural, and Best in Show/Best Overall
