Lettuce and Steel Pulse to Perform at The Refinery in July
The Refinery announced today that Lettuce (right) and Steel Pulse (below right) will perform at the venue’s amphitheater this summer. The two headliners, with surfer-turned-musician Makua Rothman opening, will take the stage Monday, July 3rd for a reggae and funk music celebration.
Lettuce recently released their eighth studio album, Unify, with standout track “Keep That Funk Alive,” inspired by funk icon Bootsy Collins, who sings and plays bass on the studio recording of the song.
Roots reggae band Steel Pulse, formed in 1975, will be playing favorites from the last four decades as well as tunes from their Grammy-winning (and most recent) record, Mass Manipulation.
The Refinery amphitheater is located at 1640 Meeting Street.
