CJCC Hosting Free Community Event: “What Are Your Rights if the Victim of a Crime”
The Charleston County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) invites you to the next Community Justice Forum, to be held via Zoom on Tuesday, February 28th from 6 pm to 7 pm. The forum, titled “What are your rights if the victim of a crime? / ¿Cuáles son sus derechos si es víctima de un delito?” includes Victim Advocates from the following agencies:
- Bernadette B. Brown, Probation, Parole and Pardon Office
- Susan Paitl, Probation, Parole and Pardon Office
- Catrice Smalls, Charleston Police Department
- Jackie Miller, Folly Beach Police Department
- Karen Bing, Charleston County Sheriff’s Office
- Spally Taylor, North Charleston Police Department
- Teri Porcel, Ninth Circuit Solicitor’s Office
Rev. Rich Robinson, Executive Director of Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy, will be the moderator for this program. This event includes live English to Spanish interpretation by Angeles Mackenzie. Interested community members should register for the forum here. This event is free and open to the public.
