Counting Crows to Play Credit One Stadium with Dashboard Confessional in August
Counting Crows will bring their 2023 Banshee Season tour to Credit One Stadium on Wednesday, August 2nd at 7 pm. They’ll be joined by openers Dashboard Confessional.
The headliners are best known for their 1993 debut album August and Everything After, which featured the hit song “Mr. Jones,” and sold more than 7 million copies in the United States. The band went on to receive two Grammy Awards nominations in 1994, one for “Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal” (for “Round Here”) and one for “Best New Artist.” The follow-up album, Recovering the Satellites, reached number one on the US Billboard 200 album chart and reached number one in several other countries. The group is also behind famous songs like “Accidentally In Love” and “Hanginaround.”
Dashboard Confessional, which is fronted by lead singer and guitarist Chris Carrabba, is best known for songs like “Screaming Infidelities,” “Hands Down,” “Vindicated,” “Stolen,” and “Belle of the Boulevard.” They’ve had three Gold-selling albums with 2006’s Dusk and Summer hitting No. 1 on the Billboard Rock charts. Their MTV Unplugged 2.0 album went platinum.
