The Charleston Museum Now Offering Free Admission for South Carolina EBT Card Holders
The Charleston Museum this week announced that it is now offering free admission to South Carolina EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer) card holders and up to five of their guests.
To redeem the offer, the cardholder must present the South Carolina EBT card and a valid government issued ID upon arrival. The name on the EBT card must match the name on the ID.
The Museum says their mission is to “educate Charleston area residents and visitors from around the nation about the natural and cultural history of the South Carolina Lowcountry through collections, exhibitions, preservation, conservation, research, and related programming.:
“We are so thrilled to launch this new program and make the Museum more accessible to all South Carolinians,” said Susan McKellar Chief of Museum Operations. “As we celebrate our 250th anniversary, we hope that many of our residents will take advantage of this opportunity and learn more about the pivotal role South Carolina has played in history.”
