Charleston Parks Conservancy Looking for Volunteers
Charleston Parks Conservancy says they are looking for volunteers “who are passionate about the organization’s mission to connect people to their parks.”
Volunteers are responsible for keeping the parks and gardens watered throughout the hottest parts of the year. Watering volunteers are required to commit on a 6-month basis, (April to October) and will have a one hour shift per week. Volunteers will be paired with a park and day of the week that is convenient to their schedule.
Training materials and resources will be shared with volunteers once they are on the schedule. Volunteers will also receive a t-shirt and will be invited to the Conservancy’s mid-summer social.
