Hanahan Library Hosting Spanish Storytime in April
Berkeley County Library System (BCLS) and Hanahan Library invite children ages * birth-to-5 years to visit Saturday, April 8th, 2023, from 10 am – 10:30 am, and listen to their favorite stories, in Spanish, told by volunteers with dancing, singing, and tons of fun! The event will be at the Hanahan Library, located at 1216 Old Murray Court, Hanahan.
Research indicates that children who are immersed in their native language, through conversations, stories, and songs, will have an easier time learning to read in their second language.
“Boeing Familia BRG is excited to bring Spanish Storytime to the Hanahan Library,” said Brenda Ortiz Valentin, Spanish Storytime Volunteer. “Boeing teammate volunteers will read STEM-based stories in English/Spanish for Spanish speaking customers and community.”
