Website: Charleston is the Best City for Outdoor Weddings

Lawn Love, a lawn care company, released a report on 2023’s Best Cities for Outdoor Weddings and they ranked Charleston as being the best in the country.

To come up with our ranking, the website compared the 200 biggest U.S. cities based on eight categories. They looked at the quality of outdoor wedding venues, access to wedding planners, and sunshine, among 36 total metrics.

• Outdoor Wedding Venues per 100,000 Residents – 1st
• Average Consumer Rating for Outdoor Wedding Venues – 34th
• Share of Budget-Friendly Catering Services – 54th
• Officiants per 100,000 Residents – 5th
• Bakeries and Cake Shops per 100,000 Residents – 3rd
• Bridal Shops per 100,000 Residents – 1st
• Hotels per 100,000 Residents – 6th
• Historical Annual Number of Very Cold Days – 59th
