2023 Cooper River Bridge Run Parties & Events

The Cooper River Bridge Run weekend is finally upon us. For some Charlestonians and visitors this means taking part in the grueling race, for others, it means it’s time to party! Of course, the true badasses do both!

Here’s a list of this Saturday’s Bridge Run parties (check back for updates):

• The Alley
  • Bridge Run Bash with 105.5 The Bridge starting at 10 am
  • Offering prizes for the first runners in.
    • The first runner inside wins a $25 gift card
    • The first 100 runners inside will get a special gift from Charleston Mix Bloody Mary.
  • Drink specials featuring:
    • $5 Charleston Mix Bloody Marys
    • $5 Mimomas
    • $12 Miller Lite, High Life & Coors Light
  • They will also be showing the Final Four games that night with specials like:
    • $12 buckets of Miller Lite, Coors Light & Miller High Life
    • $15 Corona and Corona Premier Buckets

• Big John’s Tavern
  • On Friday, March 31st, they will host the Sleep Through The Bridge Run Party
    • Party starts at 7 pm
    • Live music and drink specials
      • $6 shots all night long: Rumple, Fernet, Grand Marnier, Camarena & Jager Bombs

  • On Saturday, April 1st, they’ll open at 10 am for their “BIG Bridge Run Party”
    • Live Music from Grayson Little from 11 am – 2 pm and Eric vaughn Duo from 9 pm – midnight

      • $4 Michelob Ultras
    • Breakfast sandwiches

  • Opens at 10 am
  • Bloody Marys and the return of the Luther Burger (a bacon cheeseburger with two glazed donut buns)

  • Hosting an After Bridge Rum Party in partnership with Hilton Head Rum
  • 10 am to 1 pm
  • Registered runners will receive one complimentary mini green light, topped with a Hilton Head rum runner, while supplies last

• The Rooftop at The Vendue
  • OG Bridge Run After Party starting at 11 am
    • The theme is “Fabulous 90s,” so dust off the neon windbreakers, combat boots, or any other iconic 90s attire
    • The event will feature a DJ and photobooth, plus food and drink specials inspired by the decade (think hot dogs, smash burgers, and Appletinis)
    • For those dressed to impress, there is a costume contest where the winner receives a $100 bar tab prize

  • The event is open to all and runs from 10 am to 3 pm.
