Lewis Barbecue to Host Pop-Up Series with Beautiful South
Lewis Barbecue today announced a pop-up they’ll be doing every Thursday in April with forthcoming restaurant, Beautiful South. The downtown barbecue restaurant will welcome longtime friends Dave and Tina Schuttenberg for this special series being held in the backyard trailer at Lewis. The Schuttenbergs, who own Kwei Fei on James Island, will be showcasing dishes from the menu at their forthcoming concept, Beautiful South, set to open at The Guild at 128 Columbus Street in downtown Charleston this summer.

Beautiful South celebrates the cuisines of both the Lowcountry and Southeastern China. At Lewis, the Beautiful South team will be serving a rotating menu of Cantonese-and-street-style snacks, noodle dishes, stir frys, and vegetable dishes, alongside seasonal cocktails inspired by Southern Chinese ingredients. The menu will be available for dine-in or take-out.
Lewis Barbecue is located at 464 N Nassau Street.
